Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation ("Advanced”) is pleased to announce that Toho Water Authority, FL (“the Authority”) has selected Advanced’s flagship customer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity, to support its in-house customer service function for the Poinciana service area.
The Authority is a special independent district that provides water, wastewater, and reclaimed water service to most of Osceola County and portions of Orange and Polk Counties. Established in October 2003 by a special act of the Florida Legislature, Toho Water Authority is the largest provider of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water services in Osceola County. The Authority currently has approximately 114,000 service connections (85,000 water, 18,000 irrigation, and 11,000 reclaimed water) providing service to a population of nearly 270,000 primarily in Kissimmee, Poinciana, and unincorporated areas of Osceola County, FL. The Authority is governed by a six (6) member Board responsible for approving all operating policies.
As part of a decision to transfer customer service functions in-house for the Poinciana service area, the Authority required customer information system (CIS) software that could support the Authority’s customer service business needs. After conducting a comprehensive review of proposals from qualified vendors, reference checks and on-site demonstrations, the Authority selected Advanced Utility Systems’ customer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity. The Authority will also implement Infinity.Link, Advanced’s customer web self-service application for on-line bill payment, account management and on-line service requests.
