Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced), is pleased to announce that the Santa Margarita Water District (the District) has selected Advanced’s flagship customer information and billing system, CIS Infinity, along with Infinity.Link (Customer Self-Service), Infinity.Mobile (Paperless Service Orders) and Infinity.BI (Business Intelligence) for improving business processes and performance.
The District provides domestic and non-domestic water and wastewater service within its boundaries to 55,000 connections and over 154,000 consumers.
The District recently began implementing a five year Technology Enterprise Resource Plan (TERP) program and the procurement of a contemporary utility business system was a significant element in achieving this plan.
Dustin Navarro, Information Technology Manager for the District comments on why CIS Infinity and its complementary suite of solutions aligns with the District’s business strategies and objectives: “After a three phase scoring process, the Advanced solutions proved to provide the best value to the District and met or exceeded our functional and technical requirements.”
Mr. Navarro continues, “The Advanced solutions offer key functionality that were must-haves for the District, including, IVR and payment processing integration, water budget based utility billing, business intelligence reporting and automated workflow which will improve customer service quality, increase employee efficiency and streamline business processes.”
Beth Geldert, the District’s Customer Relations Manager adds, “The ease of interfacing CIS infinity with the District’s other enterprise systems, mobile work order capabilities, and the advanced workflow features were some additional stand out items.”
The District’s implementation will kick off in January.
