Town of Jupiter, Florida Completes CIS Infinity Implementation With Advanced

Jupiter, FL and Toronto, ON. May 19, 2015

The Town of Jupiter, Florida (the Town) has completed the successful implementation of its new customer information and billing solution, CIS Infinity by Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced). The Town went live with CIS Infinity on March 2, delivering service to 80,000 people living in Jupiter, Juno Beach and unincorporated areas of Palm Beach and Martin Counties.

With CIS Infinity fully operational for over two months now, the Town is experiencing firsthand how the system works seamlessly with its operations. The ease-of-use of the system has allowed the Town to access the information it needs whether it is related to customer information, revenue collection, meter reading and so forth at a summary level all the way down to a more detailed granular level. This information is a critical part of the Town’s business analysis and decision-making processes. Further, the information is available in real-time which significantly aids in its ability to provide timely information to its customers as well as improve its responsiveness.

Timely information access for customers is also being facilitated by two other Advanced solutions the Town implemented in addition to CIS Infinity. Infinity.Link is the Advanced customer self-serve web portal and Infinity.Teleconnect is its IVR solution delivered in partnership with Paymentus. These solutions make the Town’s customer service department more agile by allowing customers to access their account information and make payments 24 x 7 – any time that is convenient for them.

In addition to Infinity.Link and Infinity.Teleconnect, the Town also implemented the Harris iNovah central cashiering solution, and is now in the beginning stages of implementing an enterprise asset and work management solution by Lucity, a partner of Advanced.

Peter Fanous, Executive Vice President for Advanced comments on this recent CIS Infinity go-live: “Advanced continues to expand its presence in Florida. The Town is our tenth customer in the state and we look forward to growing this customer base so that we can further our knowledge of local utility business practices and processes. We are also excited about the opportunity to grow our Florida user group.”

Jupiter, Florida is located in the northeast corner of Palm Beach County, between Miami and Orlando. Over the past two decades, the Town’s water utility has been honored by more than 40 awards for excellence in operations, treatment and drinking water. As well, Jupiter was one of the first utilities in the United States to fully employ state-of-the-art nanofiltration treatment technologies to achieve all of its water supply and quality needs.
