Santee, CA and Toronto, ON. July 18, 2013
Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (“Advanced”), is excited to announce that Padre Dam Municipal Water District, California (the “District”) has selected Advanced’s flagship customer information and billing system, CIS Infinity, along with Infinity.Mobile to replace its legacy customer information and billing system.
The District is located in the City of Santee in San Diego County and provides potable water, wastewater collection and treatment, water recycling and recreational facilities to Santee, Blossom Valley, Dehesa, Crest, Alpine, Harbison Canyon, Flinn Springs, Lakeside and El Cajon. In total, the District services over 100,000 residents.
In 2011, the District partnered with Westin Engineering, Inc. to release a request for proposal to replace its legacy customer information and billing system. The District had been using its existing CIS for more than 10 years. Increased demand for data analysis, automation and operational improvements dictated the need for process and system upgrades. After a review of several vendor proposals, implementation methodologies and software demonstrations, the District determined Advanced Utility Systems to be the best fit for the District’s CIS needs.
As stated by Laura Evans, Customer Service Manager, “We needed a vendor that fit our Customer Service department values. In choosing Advanced Utility Systems, we believe the PDMWD staff will deliver best-in-class customer service by taking focus away from tasks and endless paper trails, reducing to an absolute minimum the number of processes a customer must go through to complete a requested service, allowing staff to focus on what's important - the customer.”
“Ultimately, CIS Infinity was selected as the solution of choice for being intuitive and easy to use; providing quick access to complete and accurate information; for its industry-leading integration strategy; its ability to automate repetitive tasks and put paper-based processes online.”
Advanced is proud to have Padre Dam Municipal Water District as its newest client in California, adding to their strong presence in the state. Executive Vice President for Advanced, Peter Fanous, notes, “Advanced has more clients in California than in any other state and has a very dynamic user group there. As a dedicated partner, we are focused and committed to supporting our California clients and maintaining our positive presence over the long-term by providing support, functionality and upgrades that are specific to the needs and regulations of the state.”
The implementation of CIS Infinity is now well under way at the District.
