Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation ("Advanced”) is pleased to announce that the Corporation of the City of Brantford (“the City”) has selected Advanced’s flagship customer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity, to support its in-house water, wastewater and water rental billing and customer service functions.
The City of Brantford is located in the heart of Southern Ontario. Brantford is known as the Telephone City, as it was there in 1874 that Alexander Graham Bell first conceived the idea for the telephone. It is also the birthplace of hockey player Wayne Gretzky. Brantford is a vibrant community with a population of approximately 97,000.
The City required a customer information system (CIS) that could support the City’s customer service objectives and was consistent with its objective of leveraging technology to provide solid municipal services to its citizens. After conducting a comprehensive review of proposals from qualified vendors, reference checks and on-site demonstrations, the City selected Advanced Utility Systems’ customer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity.
