Chandler, AZ and Toronto, ON. October 23, 2012
Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced), is excited to announce that the City of Chandler, Arizona (the City) has selected Advanced’s flagship customer information and billing system, CIS Infinity, along with its award-winning customer self-help solution, Infinity.Link and its mobile service order solution, Infinity.Mobile.
The City of Chandler is a prominent suburb outside of Phoenix with a population of over 230,000. Since the year 2000, the City has increased its customer base by 68% and now provides water, wastewater and solid waste services to 80,000 customers in the County of Maricopa. It is estimated that the City will add another 10,000 customers within the next 15 years.
In order to procure an enterprise utility billing system and comprehensive implementation services, the City released a request for proposal and received many responses from the software industry’s top CIS providers. Advanced was ultimately chosen to replace the current system after a comprehensive review process was undertaken by the City which included onsite meetings, software demonstrations, site visits and reference checks.
The City’s Utility Service Business Manager, Jim Crocker notes, “After conducting an extensive two year review of many possible CIS systems, Advanced’s CIS Infinity was the clear choice. CIS Infinity’s built-in, well-designed functionality and the firm’s excellent reputation when it comes to its implementation and technology capabilities will be a great advantage for our citizens and staff."
This year marks the City’s 100th anniversary and amongst its many centennial events, it will kick-off the implementation of CIS Infinity. Peter Fanous, Executive Vice President for Advanced comments, “Advanced is excited to embark on a partnership with such a great municipal organization and great people. Our team is committed to providing solutions that will enhance the City’s customer service offerings. We look forward to a strong partnership with the staff at the City of Chandler.”
