Successful CIS Infinity Go Live for Indian River County

Advanced solutions improve billing efficiency and enhance customer service

Vero Beach, FL and Toronto, Canada. November 15, 2011

Indian River County (the County) completed a successful implementation of CIS Infinity, the customer information and billing solution offered by Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced). The County also implemented Infinity.Link, the Advanced online bill payment and self-service solution as well as Infinity.Teleconnect, the Advanced interactive voice response (IVR) solution available in English and Spanish.

The County worked in close collaboration with Advanced on an efficient implementation of three solutions that provided the functionality and flexibility to serve the County’s customer base of 44,000. The County’s implementation was completed on May 2nd.

According to Cindy Corrente, the County’s Assistant Director of Utilities, “Our focus is on continually improving our customer service offering while simultaneously making our operations and processes more efficient. The Advanced suite of applications has proven to be an important part of this effort in several ways. For example, CIS Infinity allows us to accept payments electronically, negating several manual processes and eliminating delays in payment receipt. Reporting is user-friendly allowing us to easily create reports and easily obtain any statistical data from the system.”

Ms. Corrente continues, “With Infinity.Link, our customers can now apply for service and request a move-in or move-out in addition to paying and viewing their bills – all online. Infinity.Teleconnect allows us to better serve our customers as we can now inform customers of planned or unexpected outages in their area automatically without the need to print and hand deliver notices. We can also remind customers of past due payments before disconnecting their service resulting in fewer disconnects and reconnects. This in turn will result in increased efficiency and substantial cost savings.”

The County has been live on CIS Infinity, Infinity.Link and Infinity.Teleconnect for over six months now and has received strong positive feedback from its customers about the prompt payment processing, bill payment options and expanded customer service channels now available.
