Alma, QC and Toronto, ON. September 21, 2011
Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation "Advanced", is pleased to announce that the City of Alma (Quebec) has purchased CIS Infinity and Infinity.Link to replace its legacy integrated electric billing solution.
The City of Alma is located southeast of Lake Saint-Jean in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean in Quebec. The city has a population of approximately 30,000 residents. The municipality wanted to replace its software to modernize and optimize its billing operations for its customers.
According to the City Treasurer, Mr. Yves Theriault, "We wanted a proven solution that could meet our needs for the long term. CIS Infinity not only meets our functional requirements but has also proven itself in over a hundred other companies including some that are members of the Association of Quebec's Electricity Redistributors (AREQ). During our research of commercial-off-the-shelf software solutions we spoke with our colleagues in the AREQ and they are all happy with the experience they have had with their implementation of CIS Infinity. "
Peter Fanous, General Manager for Advanced comments: “We are very excited to add the City to our client roster. The City of Alma represents the fourth customer of Advanced in the province of Quebec. Our francophone implementation team will work closely with the City to ensure a successful deployment of CIS Infinity and Infinity.Link. We look forward to further expansion of our customer base in Quebec.”
Advanced will be onsite later this month to begin the project.
